Ancient Structure by Narandel Ancient Structure by Narandel
Hello everyone. A new concept art piece that i did a day ago. I experimented with some new techniques, and it was a really fun piece to paint. The concept for this piece was to design the environment where a structure was located at. Nobody knows how it got there, but there are definitely signs that living beings have taken it and made it their home. Painted in Photoshop CS5 with Wacom Intuos 4. Hope you guys like it. Cheers!

Whoah. Very cool. Did you have a particular concept or inspiration in mind as you were doing this piece?

I basically wanted to paint some sort of sci-fi structure :)

Very nice scenery. I lik the structure on the BG and the green color theme. Wonderful job. Well done! :D

Awesome piece, The only thing I could think the critique you on (I hope you don't mind me saying so) in the stop triangular like spike repeated across the roof look a bit artificial and out of depth. Perhaps something to do with lighting. Either way.. A gorgeous piece.
