Hello everyone. These are 3 environment sketches that i did during the weekend. Each piece took about an hour to do. Hopefully in the coming week, i will be able to spend more time on refining each piece to a more detailed and complete level. Cheers~

That cityscape hardly looks like a sketch at all with the detailed lights. I wonder how you did them, if you don't mind sharing your technique.

Basically i blocked out the shapes of the city with simple colors first. Then i overlayed pictures of building with lights and adjusted the layer settings so it blends in with the painting. After that, i would touch up and paint any lose ends. Its a common technique that lots of artist working in production uses.
